TRAVEL ITINERARY
Dayak
Culture 6 Days 5 Nights
Day 01: PANGKALAN BUN - BOKONSU
After breakfast walk to Arut River to board the Speedboat up
Lamandau River. You will pass many Dayak villages around the river
and many rapids in the river. You will stop at Kotawaringin village
for lunch at a local restaurant, and then continue up Lamandau River
to Bokonsu Village. Upon arrival at Bokonsu, you will be welcomed by
eating battle nut, and will then enjoy the unique experience of
joining this traditional life style. In the evening after dinner, a
local musician will play his instrument to call people to gather
into the long house. You will be welcomed by a traditional dance
where you will get to sit on the gong! You are like a Queen and a
King. Locals will serve you rice wine, this is their way of
welcoming guests who visit their village. Overnight at long house
(B, L, D)
DAY 02 : BOKONSU – KINIPAN
After breakfast boating up Lamandau River, stop at Tapin Bini
village then transfer to Kinipan by speedboat or small klotok. You
will pass some Dayak villages who live up the river with traditional
life. Overnight at villager’s house.
DAY 03 : KINIPAN – JUNGLE EXPLORE
After breakfast trek up to Batu Ampar water fall around 2 hours,
you will explore the jungle and learn about the medical plan and
Dayak people set up the trap for catch the animal. You will be
accompanied by expert guide and local ranger. Lunch will be cooked in
bamboo. Climb up to Batu Ampar Water fall. You will have shower with
water fall. Late afternoon trek down from Batu Ampar Water Fall to
the village. overnight at Villager's house. ( D,B )
DAY 04 : KINIPAN –TAPIN BINI.
After breakfast boating down to Tapin Bini, lunch at local
restaurant and overnight at villager house ( B, D )
DAY 05 ; TAPIN BINI – KOTAWARINGIN – PANGKALAN BUN
After breakfast transfer to Kotawaringin village and sightseeing
surrounding lunch at local restaurant and continue to Pangkalan Bun
(B, D)
DAY 06 : PANGKLAN BUN – AIRPORT
After breakfast transfer to airport to catch your flight to your
next destination. Tour end ( B ). |
